Raid Squadron

To effectively complete raids we need to form Eight-man or Ten-man squads.

The Air Force uses the finger-four formation developed in World War II. Four-man squads would split roles of Lead and Wingman elements. Lead elements were primarily the attackers, whereas Wingman elements were defensive/support.

Adopting this role-acceptance style of approach to raiding will provide the strength and safety of the squadron.

  • Ten-man Squad consist of Five Lead Elements with Five Wingmen Elements.
  • One Lead Element will pair with One Wingman Element.
  • Pre-mission launch buy lots of repair drones and shield batteries.
  • Fly in tight formation prior to enemy engagement to maximize buffs.
  • Lead Element will engage enemy using Armoring and Accumulator to increase survivability and attack strength. These will stack up 4x to 5x greatly increasing damage output.
  • Wingmen Elements will engage Resistance buffs for Squad prior to engagement. Use Repair specials when needed.
  • Skype will be needed for when we break into Two-man teams. Contact with Lead and Wingman Element is crucial for this to work. Use /team for squad-wide communication after enemy wave is gone.
